Our History
Don & Pam arrived in the Philippines in January 1979, four years after being ordained as a Lutheran pastor in Wisconsin. They became members of Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1982 and after that, their family of six moved more than 60 times as Don’s itinerating style of ministry kept him constantly on the go. Along the way, the Leonards pioneered the use of vernacular videos in dozens of Asian language groups. Pam passed away in 2017 while Don now resides in Minnesota, USA.
