This trip changed how I see missions. As access to some countries becomes more difficult, equipping local believers to create Gospel media for their own communities is more important than ever. I was amazed by the dedication, skill, and faith of the local teams we met—and came home with new friendships and a deeper sense of what God is doing around the world.

1. What moment from your trip has stayed with you the most?

Will never forget how nice the new headquarters was and the fact that Jaz and Becky  and the staff did a lot of the construction themselves!!

A miracle how God made this available both the site and the money for it!!!

Also the staff is so kind, giving, energetic, team oriented and in love with the Lord!!

Will never forget the great local teams- the two Ashishs, the local churches and going up the mountain with pastor Bodi (sp)

2. How did this experience change your perspective on missions or God’s work around the world?

We might not be able to get into some of these countries in the next 5 to 10 years. Need  local folks there trained and equipped  to produce the Christian videos.

Folks all over Thailand and Nepal said video is best thing to help grow the local church! Even church and theology college leaders said that!!

Persecution and violence is real around the world for Christians.

The empty  depressing feeling being at the top hindu national religious sites!!

3. What surprised you most about partnering with local media teams?

They were all amazing - the local churches, studio mentorships, seminary and partners at Nepal theological seminary and Life Media.

Some are just young teens doing christian videos in private homes under threat of three year prison terms!

Amazing dedication and skills. Especially the two Aashsishs and Sam.

Cant leave out Pastor Bodi!!

4. What would you tell someone considering becoming a Project Video Ambassador?

This is a great organization to learn and grow from. You will be grown technically and spiritually. You will be on the front lines of the fastest growing mission group I know!! The food, country and people of Thailand are great!

5. In one sentence, how would you describe your experience?

This trip was the most heart warming, God revealing trip I have ever taken and me and my wife made new friendships for life!!
